Justin Kanoff, M.D.

Surgical and Medical Retinal Specialist

Justin Kanoff, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained specialist in retinal disease and surgery. Dr. Kanoff is an expert in the surgical and medical treatment of vitreoretinal disorders. He specializes in:

• Diabetic retinopathy
• Macular degeneration
• Retinal vascular diseases
• Retinal detachment
• Complications of cataract surgery
• Ocular trauma

Dr. Kanoff completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude with majors in biological basis of behavior and psychology. Afterwards he attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, subsequently completing his two year fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery. He stayed on for an additional year as chief resident and director of the ocular trauma service.
