Joel S. Meyers, M.D.

Oculoplastic and Cosmetic Surgeon/Cataract Surgical Specialist

Joel S. Meyers, M.D., has been at the Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado for nearly 30 years. He works as the director of Meyers Aesthetic Center, which operated within the Eye Care Center. He provides the most comprehensive program in individualized skin care and laser/surgical rejuvenation techniques available today.

He specializes in oculoplastics, cosmetic and reconstructive eye and facial plastic surgery, and is the only specialist in the region to routinely perform reconstructive tear duct surgery.

Dr. Meyers is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Meyers graduated with distinction and summa cum laude from the University of Colorado at Denver with a bachelor of arts degree in biology. He went on to earn a medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Meyers served as chief resident and completed his residency training at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Queens Hospital Center in New York. He also taught at the University of Arizona Medical School, where he received his fellowship training from the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center, one of a few programs that is certified by the American Society of Ophthalmic and Plastic Reconstruction Surgeons.
